How agents use QR codes
Yard signs and flyers — link straight to the listing page so drive-by buyers see photos, price, and details before they've pulled away from the curb. Print at least 6 inches wide and use the SVG so it stays sharp.
Open houses — put a QR code on a sign stand at the door that opens your sign-in page, so every visitor becomes a contact instead of an illegible scribble. Pair it with our free open house sign-in sheet as the paper backup.
Your business card — one scan that saves your name, phone, and photo to a buyer's contacts beats a paper card they'll lose. That's exactly what a digital business card for realtors does — and it tells you who scanned it.
Real estate QR code FAQs
How do I make a QR code for a real estate listing?
Paste the listing URL (Zillow, Realtor.com, your MLS page, or your own site) into the generator above and download the QR code as a PNG or SVG. Put it on yard signs, flyers, and postcards so buyers land on the listing in one scan.
Is this QR code generator really free?
Yes — free, no signup, no watermark, and the codes never expire. These are static QR codes: the destination is encoded directly in the image, so there's no tracking service that can shut them off or start charging you.
Do these QR codes expire?
No. This tool generates static QR codes, which encode the URL directly in the pattern. They work forever, as long as the page you linked to stays online. (Paid 'dynamic' QR services expire codes when your subscription lapses — static codes can't.)
What size should a QR code be on a yard sign?
Rule of thumb: scan distance ÷ 10. A yard sign scanned from ~5 feet needs a code at least 6 inches wide. Download the SVG (or the largest PNG) for print so it stays crisp at any size, and keep strong contrast between the code and its background.
What should a realtor link a QR code to?
The three highest-value targets: the listing page (yard signs, flyers), an open-house sign-in page (capture every visitor as a lead), and your digital business card (one scan saves your contact info). A digital business card like Yavay gives you one link that does all three.
Make the scan worth it
A QR code is only as good as what it opens. Give buyers a digital business card that saves your info and captures theirs.
